WASHINGTON, DC - The Society of Recovering Sorority Girls, through its founders Kristina “Morgan” Rose and Deandra “Brooksie” Brooks, announce the new publication date of their first book titled THE RECOVERING SORORITY GIRLS GUIDE TO A YEAR'S WORTH OF PERFECT PARTIES.  Andrews McMeel Publishing now anticipates a March 2005 release.

“I believe this new publication date demonstrates our publisher’s commitment to this project” remarked Morgan.

“I think it’s because our editor went to some really lame parties over the summer and agrees with our basic premise – home entertaining should not be as boring as wallpaper paste,” added Brooksie.

THE RECOVERING SORORITY GIRLS GUIDE TO A YEAR'S WORTH OF PERFECT PARTIES is a comprehensive party-planning guide based on the philosophy of the Society of Recovering Sorority Girls.  The book offers step-by-step party plans which include menus, recipes, decoration ideas, a timeline and tips on establishing the mood of the event.  In addition, Morgan and Brooksie offer readers the opportunity to become a member of the Society of Recovering Sorority Girls.

“We can’t wait to share this book with the world next March,” explained Morgan.  “Life is just too short to suffer through bad parties!”

Over the next few months, Morgan and Brooksie will continue writing and distributing their monthly home entertaining column and providing first-rate lifestyle and home entertaining advice content on their website, www.recoveringsororitygirls.com. In addition, they will also continue to pursue their philanthropic projects and entertain freelance offers.

“Mark your calendars!  Spring rush for the Society of Recovering Sorority Girls starts next March,” concluded Brooksie.
