WASHINGTON, DC - The Society of Recovering Sorority Girls, through its founders Kristina “Morgan” Rose and Deandra “Brooksie” Brooks announce the release of their Iceland Travelogue, available in Rho Sigma Gamma’s virtual chapter house at www.recoveringsororitygirls.com.  This travelogue describes Morgan and Brooksie’s recent destination party to Iceland.

Iceland is one the most beautiful countries I’ve ever been to,” enthused Morgan.  “Plus by going in May, we were able to experience nearly 24 hours of daylight.  I’m still trying to get used to the sun going down at night.”

The Iceland Travelogue details Morgan and Brooksie’s five-day itinerary, told from their entertainment lifestyle perspective, and includes pictures.  Although their accommodations were in Reykjavik, Morgan and Brooksie spent three days exploring the countryside and many of Iceland’s most popular attractions.  In addition, the travelogue includes tips for readers to plan their own trips.

“So many of the things we saw can only be experienced in Iceland,” noted Brooksie.  “Like the Blue Lagoon.  How many other countries can boast a world renowned spa which uses run-off water from a power plant?”

“And what about the Great Geysir – the geyser for which all others are named,” added Morgan.

Morgan and Brooksie also used this trip to better refine their “destination party” concept.  While similar to a road trip, a “destination party” is more organized, but designed to offer all the key elements of a great party – excellent food, activities and conversation.

“Let’s see, we dined at one of the top 100 restaurants in the world, explored a glacier by snow mobile and had a chance to hang out with great friends.  I’d say it was our most successful destination party yet,” summarized Brooksie.
