WASHINGTON, DC – The Society of Recovering Sorority Girls, through its founders Kristina
“Morgan” Rose and Deandra “Brooksie” Brooks, announce their signature party plans for Lifetime Television’s
“A Nosh to Remember: The Nanny Reunion.” The special reunion episode will air on December 6 at 8 PM EST.
“Why settle for just watching the show when you can host your own ‘Nosh to Remember’
and unite with good friends to share some great food and a lot of laughter,” noted Morgan.
“We took our inspiration from the starring character, Fran Fine,” explained Brooksie. “As the show’s theme song states ‘she had style, she had flair,
she was there.’”
On December 6, the cast of “The Nanny”
will gather at the Malibu beach house of actress Fran Dresher for a dinner party. America is invited
to join them on Lifetime Television as they reflect and reminisce about their experiences on the show. In addition, the special one-hour reunion will feature clips, rehearsal footage and never-before-seen bloopers.
“After much discussion, we propose a four-course menu which includes Nanny Noshes, Waldorf
(Astoria) Salad, Malibu Chicken served with asparagus and
mini New York-style cheesecakes for dessert,” stated Morgan. “We
believe this menu celebrates both Fran Fine and her creator, star of the show and hostess for the evening, Fran Dresher.”
“Most importantly, this menu should be accompanied by a ‘whine’ flight,”
added Brooksie.
Morgan and Brooksie also advise hostesses planning this party to celebrate the Nanny’s
fondness for fashion by wearing a fully coordinated outfit. True fans will want
to thoroughly express their sense of fashion by changing outfits several times throughout the course of the party.
“Ms. Fine would never wear the same outfit for an entire show, and neither should you
for your party,” stressed Morgan.
Recipes and additional party suggestions are posted in the Society of Recovering Sorority
Girl’s virtual chapter house at www.recoveringsororitygirls.com.
“Better get the invitations out for your very special ‘Nosh to Remember’
because the Nanny reunion is only a week away,” concluded Brooksie.
