about this. Your husband may want his grandchildren to be a part of the celebration. In the alternative, since space
constraints are an issue, you may want to consider doing a special celebration for family only (perhaps one of his children
would agree to host?) and then a "no children" type party for former colleagues and acquaintances.
Sometimes it's
easier to coordinate the menu, decorations, and logistics compared to balancing intricate family dynamics.
